Things that go Bump in the night

Baltimore History and the WOD

Baltimore has been around for quite some time. It was one of the first colonies in the new world to be fully populated and set up with their own government, filled with people all stacked in on top of one another. Industry thrived there, bringing with it immigrants and all manners of laborers as well as the social elite that desired the life of the city dweller. Where money can be made, especially through the hard work of others, there will always be someone willing to partake.

Because of the ripe history in the area, there are a multitude of strange events that can be looked at throughout the last couple of centuries in order to feed into the happenings within the World of Darkness. One of the more famous residents of Baltimore, Edgar Allen Poe, can even be depicted as having a major influence on the mood and theme of the city itself. But he's not alone! There are other issues, the battle between nature and industry, natives and immigrants, dark and light... it all happens here. With cemeteries that have been around since the 1500's, the place is filled with ghosts, spirits, and all manner of dangers both past and present.

What Flavors of Supernatural can be found in Baltimore?

As far as available character types for Nevermore Darkness, we are allowing the following games: Changeling, Geist, Hunter, Immortal, Mage, Mortal, Mortal+ (Including Psychic, Thaumaturge, Mediums, Wolf Blooded, Ghouls, Ensorcelled Mortals), Skin Changer, Vampire, and Werewolf.

If you do not see the type of supernatural that you would like to play on that list, keep in mind that we are starting out the game with the available spheres we have STs for and have been able to make rules adjustments to best fit our concept. In the future, additional spheres will open up to allow for further variety of characters.

How many alts am I allowed to have?

Here at Nevermore Darkness we're allowing up to 3 alts, with up to 2 of those slots being fulfilled by a Supernatural Template.

What Qualifies as a Supernatural Template?

The following is a list of what would be considered a supernatural character template:
  • Changelings
  • Geists
  • Mages
  • Vampires
  • Werewolves
  • Skin Changers
  • Lucifuge
  • Purified
