The Fallen Pig
A hidden bar in a cave carved by lava.
Accorded Neutral Territory where things that go bump come to rub elbows.

The Bar

The Pig is nestled inside the basalt walls of a long-dormant lava cavern. The service bar and a few chairs are elevated above the surface of the 4-foot deep water, but the only way in or out is to swim or walk on the partially submerged walkway and steps. Everything in the bar is natural that isn't equipment, right down to the bark and rice paper shades on the lamps. Of course, there's a TV in the bar for those who want to catch up on the latest news or sporting event. We aren't savages.

Accorded Neutral Territory

Accorded neutral ground is guaranteed to be neutral even when most of that ground is water. For those "In the Know", Accorded Neutral Territory is governed by the Unseelie Accords, enacted by mutual agreement of its Signatories (major powers and Freeholding Lords) under the direction of the Queen of Air and Darkness, Mab of the Winter Court of Faerie. The Accords establish guidelines for etiquette, hospitality, formal duels, and neutral ground.

Protocols of Accorded Neutral Territory

Ignorance of the law is no excuse. Learn & obey these rules or face the consequences:
  • Letter of the Law - "There is no spirit of the law, only its letter."
  • Safe Passage - Messengers may expect safe passage as long as they don't instigate trouble. Not drugging offered food or drink falls under safe passage, unless targeted at a group and not an individual.
  • Weregild - When a member of the Accords kills another member, a close relative may demand the killer pay weregild in compensation for the death.
  • Code Duello - Grievances between members of Accorded factions can be solved by single combat, under strict rules.
  • Neutral Ground - No member of an Accorded faction may start any conflict on the premises. Take it outside.
