8 July, 2008 Isaac brings the hoard out for a night. |
Location
Small Cove, North Shore |
Plot(s) |
The cove is beautiful, and it gleams with the light of the moon. There's nothing quite like a flawless, sandy beach and shallow, moondrenched water to make the world seem like a perfect place. But the Hawaiian trees and bushes around edges of the sandy beach make it somehow even more idyllic.
Mila was out with Volya, enjoying the night on her shoulders, on her skin really, as she was sitting on the beach wearing nothing but a pair of pale green panties and a loose tank top, the bright yellow garment still a little wet from the last time she'd gone into the water. All of her long, hombre dark to blonde hair was soaked and dripping down her back and onto the sand she sat on. Bare feet dug into the sand ahead of her as she ate a cheeseburger, the thing huge and obviously from some specialty restaurant. Tonight, it would seem, was a picnic night for the ladies. Isaac shambles into view, the usually dapper young man looking decidely rough around the edges this evening. For a start, he isn't in his usual clothes, what he's wearing could best be described as pyjamas from first glance. An oversize white cotton shirt, the logo on the front almost faded to nothing from the washes over the years. His light cotton pants are held up by a cord at the waist and certainly look designed for use indoors rather than out. He has shaved recently and even washed his hair but the rings around his eyes and the pallor to his skin suggest that he has not been sleeping well, that and his usual energetic gait has been replaced by something that is normally seen on a Hammer Horror set. He calls out a greeting when he sees who it is, managing something of a smile but even that feels tired. He is carrying a towel under one arm, although it looks to have been wrapped around a pillow for one reason. In his free hand, he has a linen carrier bag which is bulging around the edges. "Hey guys!" He offers them a friendly wave as he steps closer, the smell from the fast food doing things to his stomach that he mostly tries to ignore. Stopping for a moment, he squints as he looks around the cove, looking to see if there is anyone else around before he finally seems to relax. Volya sorted out the ziplocks, picking out a piece of fish jerky to pop in her mouth and chew it slowly. Running her fingers through her greenish-blonde hair, she stared intently at the water. She may not trust water. Sometimes things walk out of it when it shouldn't. Nothing was walking out of it, at the moment... She may have raided the children's shop, because the canary yellow t-shirt doesn't cover her mid-section and hugged her like a second skin. Vee was feeling tall today apparently. Her legs were mostly cover with a beige high-low Bohemian Summer dress, and her bare feet bounced to music that didn't exist outside her own head. In quick reaction, Volya offered a wide smile and happy "Aloha!" in return to Isaac. Mila couldn't quite take both hands off the gooey concoction she was managing to work her way through, but she did lift her chin in greeting to Isaac, along with giving him a wide grin. Once she'd swallowed a bite of food, she cleared her throat and called out a happy "Aloha ahiahi, Isaac. You look like you're finding your way out of some sleepaway camp horror movie." She chuckled, shifting a little and then nodding to the sand near where she was sitting nearby Vee. Looking over at Vee, Mila raised her brows. "Oh my Akua, wahine! Eat your burger. I got you that beef patty wrapped in cheese then in bacon and deep fried just to make sure there wasn't any veg on it. No bun even. You better eat it or I'm going to steal it and eat it myself. And you'll be sad. All because I'd likely kiss you later and you'd wish you'd taken a bite before I hoovered it all down like a giant boar." Mila waggled her eyebrows at the other woman, her deep brown eyes glinting with humor. "Hey guys, it's so wonderfully peaceful here." Isaac sets down the carrier bag with the sort of care one reserves for explosives and then, once that is done, he unwraps the towel and lays it on the sand. Placing the pillow at the top of what he is hoping will be a bed, he kneels down and starts to unpack the carrier bag. A glass terrarium is taken out first, sets on the ground ever so delicately before he works on the rest. A bowl comes out next, along with a large jug of milk. Taking the top off the bottle, he fills the bowl and then puts it away. "I hope you guys don't mind a little extra company, they were going mad at home and I figured an outing was in order." Reaching once more into his carrier bag, he pulls out a paper wrapped lunch, probably sandwiches which he sets in his lap and then finally, he turns to the Terraium. "Guys, we have guests here and we've talked about this. Now go on, play nice and get some food." He says this with an absurdly patient voice, there being no reaction at first and then little lights start to flicker on within the green bowl. Vee shook her head to Mila, "Is it in the spirit of Aloha to state that someone looks like a trainwreck?" Her bright blue eyes went back to Isaac, "Because maybe not trainwreck, but really... Forced into the land of being awake because your bed was lit on fire." Her head recoiled back from Mila, Vee's hand moving to fold the ziplock bag up to put in the Rastafarian themed shoulder bag. Then she picked up the paper wrapped burger to open and break off a piece. She slowly placed the hunk of burger in her mouth and she watched Isaac prepare camp. When the silence seemed too much, Volya asked gently, "How long has it been since your bed burnt down?" Mila took another bite of her burger and looked at Isaac, attempting to be less messy, though it was almost impossible with the cheese melting off of it and onto her hand. She did, at least, wait to talk until she swallowed her food. "Isaac... Did you...?" She stopped talking and looked at the bowl of milk, and the very faint, very rare glimpse of something shimmering that she could catch from the corner of her eye. "Wait." Mila cocked her head to the side and stared for a long moment, then looked at Isaac. "Did you like.. KEEP all of them that paid you a little visit, haole?" Shock registered in her voice, and she looked at Volya. "I didn't even see him put them in his pocket, I thought they left." She grinned when she saw Volya eating her burger and gave her a wink. "That's right, I feed my wahine, when she lets me." Then she snickered softly and shook her head, looking back over at Isaac. "I think it's ok that we tell him he looks like he needs the rest, at the very least, because we say it with aloha." "Not fire per se. I uh..." Isaac frowns as he tires to work his sleep deprived brain. "Imagine taking several ropes of Christmas lights, now wrap yourself up in them and try to sleep. Also, have the lights have to be asking for food, to go out, why you're tired, can we play, why won't the lizard play with me, telling me my plants are sad." Isaac lets out a sigh and then manages a smile. "It's uh, it's been emotional. My bed isn't on fire but I might have found Lego in it earlier." More and more lights flicker on within the glass bowl, all of them emerald green and moving slowly at first and then picking up speed. Turning to Mila, he shakes his head. "I didn't keep any, these little guys I found outside my apartment what feels like a decade ago. There was a note attached. These guys are mine, in the biblical sense apparently." A small swarm of green motes slowly drifts out from the bowl, spinning in lazy circles overhead and then peeling off in different directions as things catch their interest. Little calls of 'looksie!' and 'new!' can be heard amoung the babble of other voices. Little clusters head out towards Mila and Volya, the two of them being inspected with keen interest. Distinct male and feminine voices can be heard, although all are rather high pitched. Food is sniffed, hair is tugged on, bags inspected. A small clump heads directly for the bowl of milk and yet another settles on Isaacs shoulders, one or two orbiting near his head and his cheeks can be seen to dimple as they occasionally bounce off him. "Go on, go play. But be nice! These are friends, no fire!" Isaac uses reassuring tones, even with the tiredness that creeps into his voice. Taking up his dinner, he unwraps the paper and looks with lustfilled eyes at the sandwich in front of him. Blinking a few times, he looks over to Volya. "Wait, not even a bun? Wow, you take your meataterianism really seriously."
Mila blinked a couple of times as she saw the little specs, but with how inconsistently they could be noticed, it was more like watching the invisible man move through the area disturbing the wind than anything. She shook her head and chuckled. "Maaaan. You are like the living embodiment of a condom commercial right now. Though I'm sure you've thought of that a time or two in the last couple of days?" Mila's eyes were glinting brightly as she took another bite of her burger, happily gnoshing her way through the masterful piece of food she was holding. Looking over at Volya, Mila winked at her saucily, licking the shimmer of cheese and meat juice off of her lips. "How did you know what I dress up as for Christmas? Just you wait. I have an awesome femur I use for a hair tie, with a strip of leather to tie it in." Looking between Isaac and Volya, she seems to have elected to stop trying to /see/ the pixies, and has just accepted they're simply dancing in the edge of her vision all the time. "Vee? Do you know how big a nipple is?" Isaac blinks and then shakes his head. "Okay, I'm guessing you do. So Pixies are like really dinky, super small. Also and I do hate to break this to you, I know i'm just oozing sex appeal right now but...I'm a bloke." There is tired humour in his voice as he looks over to her though. "Also, stories, switches? Wuh?" Isaac gleefully takes a bite of his sandwich and after swallowing, looks back to the girls. "How many? Erm... many. 'Take good care of them, they're yours. And they all look like you.' There was even a list of names." He laughs perhaps a little hysterically at Mila's comment, nodding his head as he continues with his sandwich. "Oh man, it may have crossed my mind once or twice." As time goes on, Isaac is slowly getting covered in motes, not exactly making him twinkly but it is certainly there. "They are a little clingy but mostly well behaved. It's easier to take them out at night as there is less chance of losing sight of them. Anyway, more on this costume? Someone mentioned loin cloths? What's Vee going to wear, inquiring minds need to know." Finishing his dinner, Isaac puts away the wrapper and leans back on the towel. "Of course, I would kill for a baby sitter right now..." Volya popped another piece of torn to chew on, the grin apparent on her lips as she watch Mila and swallowed. "I should point out... We were dating before Christmas, I feel the costume is a lie." Offering a nod to Isaac, Vee made a popping noise with her mouth. "Yes, I'm familiar with the various sizes of nipples. Latching on may be out of the question, but breast pumps are massage aren't out of the question. And this is just the sort of transformation that Summer is all for." Vee dotted the air, trying to follow the Christmas lights. "I mean switching a baby for a Fae." Peeling off another piece of burger, she giggled. "They are yours. 'They' could be two of a hundred... And the rest being..." She gestured to the spites, "Full grown adults seeing the opportunity for free food." Mila snorted as she chewed through another bite of heaven, finally getting the burger down to manageable size enough to hold with one hand. Of course, her other hand was soon holding the cup of whatever drink she had nearby, so she could take a long drink. "Well, I mean, at least you're doing what you can to keep everyone together and haven't started auctioning them off as twinkle lights." Mila winked to Isaac and looked along his shoulder where there was a faint trace of a glow moving slightly in the night. "Annnnd, at least they didn't send them all home. You had FAR more of them on you that day than you have little ones. They made like a solid blanket." Mila shuddered just a bit at the thought. She gave Volya a wolfish grin and shook her head. "We were together before Christmas, but I wasn't part of the play this year. Next year? I'll make sure I am, just so you can see me in my native splendor." She snickered, then looked over at Isaac with wide eyes when Volya explained about the possible switch. "Oh wow... that would be... Kind of funny and terrible at the same time. Do any of them sound more like adults than the others?"
Volya stared at Mila, a goofy smile appearing in short order. "October 17th would be our anniversary. I'm like the last person to remember dates. I've forgotten birthdays. My birthdays. But not October 17th, that one's locked in the vault." She paused, blinking her eyes. "Though there's also December 23rd as an anniversary." Vee sat there gazing at Mila, before waving a hand and looking at Isaac. "It's really hard to know one way or another. It's like trying to sort one helium huffer from another." The woman shook her head slowly, "But they are rarely clear on anything. They can't lie. They could have had someone that could lie, write the letter. The only way to know for certain is to ask each other individually and listen to their response." Vee held her fingers an inch apart and showing Isaac, "A bit... They're sort of group of fae that you learn a bit about from almost every story. They are around, but are rarely the focus." Mila smiled softly at Isaac, looking as sympathetic as she could be in that moment. "I'm sure it'll get better as they get older, then worse when they get even older. Just like any kids. And you have almost enough of them to make up something the size of a tiny animal if you globbed them all together. It's not so bad." Mila winked to him. "I don't really know much about Pixies, though. If you want to know about Hawaii and what's to be found here under all the rocks, or in all the little crevices, I can help you out. But when it comes to the stuff like Fae and dragons and kings and queens? I only know about Kamehameha." She smiled softly, then bit into her burger again, getting close to polishing it off, but eating like she was still hungry. Mila's smile widened significantly as she looked over at Volya and her eyes softened with affection. "My pupule wahine, getting ready to celebrate anniversaries. We'll have to get that double board out and go for a joint surf. Either that or take a trip over to the big island, maybe hike up the mountain. Anything you want, really. It'll be a good day to celebrate something other than our daily lives we already have joy for." She leaned over closer and laid a kiss on Volya, not too intense, but definitely sweet. "Oh my, that's so sweet!" Isaac grins as he looks over to Mila and Vee. "Also, someone please tell me what 'pupule wahine' means? My minds, my poor deluded mind keeps translating it as 'purple wheenie'...but that's probably because I don't get out enough." Isaac grins, letting his head fall back as he lets out a contented sigh. "I've heard getting oiled up and wrestling is a traditional way to celebrate, just thought I'd put that out there..." He rolls back onto his back, giving them a little privacy and causing a little cloud of motes to roll up into the air before they settle back on top of him. "I suppose I could ask the little guys individually, they all seem to think i'm their dad but it is an option. Oh...has anyone checked in on Joachim, I mean he was waving quite an interesting time when we left, I wonder if he got a little jar of joy left on his doorstep. Oh and I totally remembered that thing I wanted to ask you Mila! Lava monsters! They were near the lagoon one day, they totally hate being attacked though. Not that I did, but this Corrine lass did and got lava thrown at her for her trouble." As he lies there on the ground, the motes start to settle, giving him an almost imperceptible outline as he lies on the towel. Volya managed a quirky smile, "It's not everyday that you run into a girl that doesn't kick out her girlfriend after watching her in the edge of a Wyld orgy. It means being open to plans for the future." A giggle rang out before she glanced at Isaac, "Pupule wahine means crazy woman. And yes... I may be like six foot today. I gave up taking measurements a long time ago. Now it's more like, 'Yup... Going to wear the threadbare quitters, because nothing else is going to slide up these thighs and cover my ass.' Sometimes, I skip the panties, because there's nothing more disheartening than knowing I looked so good in something and it not fitting." The woman shook her head, picking at a wild tendril to stare at it. "Stop being so green, I'm trying to avoid the sun..." The woman paused, "Lava monsters... Her department. I would be the--" She dropped her West Coast accent, for something completely Siberian, "Polevoi, Domovoi, eelee perelesnyk..." Mila gave Volya a warm smile, then turned back to finish off the last of her burger, eating the few bites with a slight grin as she listened to Isaac. Shaking her head, she snorted softly. "I haven't seen Joachim to find out, but I'm sure if he ends up having a conversation with us, we'll know immediately. He's not much one to keep his own secrets." She winked to Isaac and then licked her fingers clean. "Ah now, poorly tempered lava monsters, though. That I know about." Reaching out to take a handful of sand, she rubbed her hands together roughly, natures awesome soap, sand is. "Pele's folk, undoubtedly. Though it depends on the Lagoon. It could have been a lesser god or goddesses get, but if it was on the Leeward side, it's all Pele's. Even the things that don't seem like they can burn you will burn you without thinking twice about it." She shrugged a little. "Your friend's probably lucky that she didn't get covered in a blanket of lava instead of just a little bit of it thrown at her." Mila had reason to chuckle again as she listened to Volya. "Oh my kamehameha, you are worth not going too crazy with jealousy over. Besides, if you didn't want this, you'd have chosen something else instead of making sure I felt alright keeping you close." She winked over at Volya and then eyed her skin and hair. "I actually like the green tint. It makes you different than all the other white, blonde girls. And I'm into white blonde girls... you're like the extra special white blonde girl." Polevoi, domo-wosit? Okay, cool. I know Atari, Nintendo, Sega Megadrive. Perhaps a teeny tiny bit about Summer and that Winter are..." Isaac clears his throat, emotion getting the better of him for a moment. "Scum." Taking a breath, he musters a smile. "So fancy dress takes on a new and interesting angle, I'll admit to almost screaming while in the shower the other day. It's something I'm going to have to try and keep an eye on, it could get awkward otherwise." Isaac chuckles then, his humour fully returning. "Want to know a secret? I figured it was a contact high at first or the drugs were changing you." He shakes his head, thinking back on odder times. "I'm sure Joachim will be fine and you're right, we'll see a TV advert if he's having problems." Isaac absorbs the news about Pele thoughtfully. "I know I've heard Pele mentioned before. Some hassle with a pig or something? I can't remember which lagoon it was but these guys came out of the water and were sure angry about something, they didn't attack unless provoked though." He chuckles as he listens to the interaction, "You're both crazy in a completely adorable way. I'm almost jealous." Volya finished burger patty, smiling proudly as she listened to Mila. "I managed to find the most badass surfer among the four, forty, four hundred..." Another giggle slipped out of her, "And yet for the life of me, I can't remember if it keeps going or stops around 400,000 or 4,000,000. I'll go with four billion." Her smile faded when Winter was mentioned, and she growled. "I thought getting bitchy about the mention of Them was the price of admission, but now... I have experience with them... And it's like a small fire now. It may be a big fire if I see her again." Her mouth twitched and she took a deep breath. Crunching up her wrapper, she slipped it into her bag. Staring at Isaac for a moment, she crawled across the sand, her skirt sweeping the sand, but stopped short of the towel. "Do you want me to quicken the polevoi sorting hat for you?" Giving Isaac a grin, Mila looked decidedly on the side of the wild for a moment. "Oh yeah, I've always been crazy. But then, so's my sister. It's what happens when you're mom's the baby of the Goddess of all things spiny and coral in the ocean." Mila chuckled darkly. "Mom and dad used to get into fights that were insane, and he actually built up a tolerance to the poison on her spikes because she'd grow them and they'd end up getting physically less than kind." She rolled her eyes a bit. "The worst part is I'm pretty sure that dad likes it that way, because they're still together, just on the little island over that way." She motioned toward the East. "And he gives her plenty to do, they work hard on saving the reef, and taught us to do the same. Rabidly if necessary." Mila shrugged softly. "But... considering that she's just the daughter of the spiny goddess, not the daughter of Lava and all volcanoes and FIRE, I can only imagine how Pele stacks up to her, or even her mom in comparison." She let out a soft whistle. "And Pele's temper tantrums are literally the stuff of legends. Like.. really real legends." Mila beamed proudly at Volya. "Darling, you're selling me short. I'm right there with the boys too. Though only because of the fact that I'm small and muscly. If I were bigger I'd have a harder time keeping my pelvis together on the big waves. I might not be able to ride at the Quicksilver if I were a bigger girl." She snickered and watched as Volya made her offer to Isaac, raising her brows. "Now I'm curious, how big's the hat?" Isaac watches cautiously as Volya started to crawl over, his gaze flicking from to her to Mila as she approached. "I apologise if you thought I was taking the piss, I was just trying to explain how little I know." He raises an eyebrow as Mila speaks, glancing to her but keeping his eyes on Volya. "I thought that was a euphemism for something...erm." He takes a breath and seems to relax, nodding his head slowly then. "Okay. Yes, please quicken the hat." There is an edge of trepidation to his voice as he says this, the young man still clearly confused. Changing the subject, he looks back over to Mila. "Spiny, ouch! But you say he built a tolerance to it? The things we do for love I guess. So wait, both of you? Oh. Also...shit! I should probably mention this to Keha at some point? I don't think 'by the way, I stuck my knob into a cloud of pixies' is going to cut it though." He looks back to Vee, a thought coming to him. "Quick question before you sort the hat. Couldn't I just ask the Pixie I met? I know her name, she told me. I could summon her right?"
As if placing an invisible glass on Isaac's chest, Vee opened her hand. "Now... We're like cousins, so... Summer being about abundance and grow..." Vee rested her hand on one of Isaac's pectorals, and gently drew her fingers over his shirt to enclose her fingertips over the areola, then repeated the same motion over the other. "And why I stay away from the barns in the morning." Sitting back, Isaac could feel a warming ache in his chest. "We are the wet nurses of Faerie... Let downs are in our natures."
Volya sighed softly, "Well... I think a relationship needs to progress naturally without the artificial--natural... Whatever the optional relationship step orgy falls under." She rattled the thought out of her head, "On an emotional level, I couldn't do it. Granted, there is the whole faerie side that doesn't want to keep her knees together. My knees." She frowned a touch, "And I'm not the sort to give someone a third breast. That would be vulgar." Resting her hand over her heart, she raised her chin, "I'm more of a releasing the beauty that one harbors in their heart... Which may come down to big, lip-drawing, hissing-breath-inducing cocks." Volya dotted the air with her index finger as she smiled at Isaaca, "Breastfeeding helps with inducing relaxation, and it should help you rest." Mila grinned "Condom Commercial Number 1, right there. Makes me glad I don't go for the big ole semen dump." Yeah, it was crass, but accurate. "Of course, if you want some lady company while you're like that, I know some other chicks that are into a little girl on girl." She waggled her brows. "None as hot as Vee, but you know, they're experienced." Mila chuckled, what had been in her drink was likely not entirely juice... or perhaps she'd taken some of Volya's candy on thie particular jaunt and that's why she was so damn hungry. "You have fun with your babies, Isaaca. I'm sure we'll see all of them and you many times over. And we'll all play together. Though I draw the line and helping to breast feed. I might let them go surfing with me if they want to. It could be fun!" Mila smiled softly at volya then, relaxing. "Ah Vee. It's alright, you're you. That's why I love you. There's nothing bad about any of your urges. And you tend to have wonderful urges. Even when they're a little surprising, always fun to watch play out." She offered her hand up to Volya, beckoning her to come closer and lay on the sand. "come lay with me, then swim with me while the sun comes up. It's awesome." Peering up at Volya, Isaac raises a finger. "You could have given me a hot cocoa, that helps you sleep too!" She grins though, apparently finding her sense of humour once more. "Gosh, you're so coy about what you want Vee, it's a wonder anyone ever figures it out." Lifting herself up on her elbows, she looks over at Mila. "It does quite, do you think I could get a brand named after me?" Letting herself sink back down, she shakes her head. "As thoroughly intriguing as the offer is, I'm in severe danger of falling asleep on people as it stands. While drowning in pussy is one way I have considered going out, I was rather hoping that day was a ways away." With some reluctance, she drags herself up and starts to roll up the pillow in the towel. "I'm sure they'd like a trip out over the surf although I'm not sure they'd been keen on getting wet. You should see them in a hamster ball though, it's absolutely insane the speed they can get up to." Tidying away the rest of her stuff, she picks up the glass globe and holds it under one arm, waiting patiently as the motes start to fill it up. "It's been wonderful to see you guys again, enjoy the rest of your evening!" Volya grinned widely with Mila, leaning over she crawled her way over to Mila. "And for all my insanity, the emotional rollcoasting, and mossy carpet, you want to lay around until the sun comes up?" Taking a handful of hair to hold aside, Vee leaned in over Mila to steal a kiss, "Yes, yes, and yes." She managed to steal a second longer kiss before looking back to Isaac with a grin. "Coy? I light things on fire. I just try not to light everything on fire." A giggle slipped out, "Rest well, Isaaca. Enjoy it when you can." Mila chuckled and happily accepted kisses, glancing over at Isaaca with a broad, happy smile and a decidedly satisfied gleam in her dark eyes. "Aloha and go safely, til we meet again on our paths. And all of your paths." She chuckled and made her forefinger do zigzags in the air, mimicking the pixie flight paths of the little, hardly notable motes of glimmering green. "We'll see you soon, and until then, I'll try desperately to figure out what this coy, blonde wahine wants." And with that, Mila gave a little more avid attention to dragging Volya down all the way to the sand, because what's more fun than planting a blonde at the beach? |
