Kona Storm Descendent of Paka'a
The wind is wild, wild as the face of the young woman that bears the genes of the Hawaiin god of the wind, Paka'a. The speed and swiftness, the power and gentleness are all at the command of Paka'a and his children, and children's children. The resourcefulness of the god who created the sail gifts the ability to change course as needed and stay afloat in turbulent waters and rescue others from the tempest.
TROUBLE
Wind Blows Out the Lamp of the Mind
When any passion of emotion hits, it is hard to think rationally through to a logical conclusion. Kilia feels all her emotions, sometimes too much, and can blindly run down the wrong path when they are allowed to rule her head.
Nobody Puts Baby in a Corner
As the only girl born after four boys, from the time she could walk, Kilia was following after and imitating her brothers; and would raise holy hell if left behind. She was impossible to contain in cribs or play pens, and was even found on top of the refrigerator once when left alone for two minutes in her high chair.
No Silver Spoon for Baby
Even though she was born into a wealthy family, and didn't lack for anything, when she was old enough to work (which, in a family business is a couple years before the law says you're old enough to work), she started at the bottom of the heap.. waxing and cleaning the rental surf boards, and the other entry level tasks of the resort's surf services, and work her way up to being a surf pro.
Prodigy Pays Off
As a surfing prodigy, she made a name for herself early, and took advantage of the sponsors offered. Because of this, she's been able to use these contacts from pro surfing to become a model, which enables her to stay home more, and be able to spend more time with her daughter, Sanoe Sif Haughen-Hale.
